One of our lovely ninjas, Dan Cook, has been visiting the Canterbury Retired Greyhound Trust with his daughter (photographed below) and he keeps telling us how lovely it is there. They enjoy walking the lovely greyhounds in the beautiful Kent surroundings, aww we want to walk them all!

The Sittingbourne branch was set up in 2006, to find homes for greyhounds that have retired from racing at the Central Park Stadium in Sittingbourne, Kent. The organisation has expanded and now been renamed the Canterbury Retired Greyhound Trust.

The Retired Greyhound Trust is a national charity, which was founded in 1975 and they are dedicated to finding loving homes for greyhounds, when their racing days are over. All their members are dedicated volunteers who give their time to help find homes for these beautiful dogs. Jenny (photographed above) has recently been re-homed which is wonderful news!

So, whether you fancy just walking a loveable greyhound or adopting one, there is nowhere else to visit! The kennels are open 7 days a week between 10am and 1pm, no appointment necessary. They are based at Rosedale Kennels, Rusham Road, Shatterling, Canterbury, CT3 1JL.
