Our decorations are up, Christmas songs on the speakers and festivity in the air! This year we’ve celebrated 25 years of BCS, welcomed new apprentices to the team, ran 134km collectively for charity and continued to support our customers throughout the ongoing pandemic. We’d like to thank all of our team and our customers for continuing to work together during these turbulent times.
This year, we started off with a creative exercise during our morning huddle. We gather every Friday morning to update each other on the week and share our thoughts and feelings. Led by Service Director Harry, we were given the task of making a 3D Christmas tree out of an A4 piece of paper… as you can see below many (questionable) Christmas trees were made! Our Sales & Marketing Director Jess came out on top (of course!) with a creative tree made with staples and a tissues box – who said the marketing department wasn’t resourceful!
Our new Marketing Assistant Hannah has been busy this December delivering chocolates and decorating the office! She joined the Marketing department tradition of decorating the tree and had blast doing so!
When it comes to this time of year, it is good to think of others not as fortunate as ourselves. Christmas Jumper Day is in aid of Save the Children, an organisation which “improve the lives of children through better education, health care, and economic opportunities, as well as providing emergency aid in natural disasters, war, and other conflicts” (savethechildren.org.uk) and you can donate by visiting www.savethechildren.org.uk/christmas-jumper-day.
