Jo Llewellyn

Jo is a Mum to 3 grown-up sons, wife to her soulmate and honorary auntie to all the BCS staff.
She is an avid animal lover. Jo’s menagerie once consisted of 3 boxer dogs, 2 cats, 4 chickens, an aviary of birds and a horse called Pumpkin. These days she loves and adores her retired greyhounds, Arthur and Nancy.

60s chick
Jo loves the 60s. Sadly she’s not old enough to have lived through them, but instead likes to spend her time attending Mod and Sixties events, watching live bands and playing her husband’s original 60s vinyl collection. Her parents were rockers during the 60s… they once commented on how on earth they’d managed to produce a Mod!

Boozy weekends
Most weekends Jo can be found at one or many of Thanet’s various micropubs, relaxing with her husband, people-watching, sampling various ales, wines, gins and/or ciders, and generally enjoying life. Cheers!

Herr Right
Jo met her husband on Facebook. He was living in Germany and moved to a new country to be with her. How great is he?!

Inseparable Siblings
In January 2020, Jo adopted a retired greyhound named Arthur, and life was complete. Or so she thought. One month later, Arthur’s sibling arrived at the rescue kennels looking for a home… they had been the only two in the litter and reuniting them seemed to be the only option. Arthur now shares the sofa with Nancy.
