He’s spent over twenty years creating lasting brand experiences through identity, marketing, advertising, environmental, web, video, content and print. His approach is rooted in the belief that great design and effective marketing isn’t just about aesthetics and messaging — it’s about simplifying the complex and making meaningful, useful connections.

A Design For Life
James’ background in design is central to his work in every way. He loves typography, a passion that was first ignited during his undergraduate degree. Form always follows function and he believes in the power of design thinking to tackle communication challenges and create solutions that genuinely work for real people (and bots these days).
Pedal Power
At the start and end of the working day you can spot James cycling into the office. He does this in (almost) any weather and enjoys the challenge of avoiding Thanet’s ‘lively drivers’ and meandering pedestrians — a daily obstacle course that keeps him alert and entertained.
Honest Racketeer
A semi-regular table tennis player, James also enjoys badminton too. However, he considers himself somewhat of a Swingball Pro and isn’t afraid to defend his title at family gatherings and social events.
Family First
James’ children keep him on his toes at home and his favourite pastime is playing games and enjoying the best that Kent has to offer with his family.
