Worried about Data Loss harming your business?

Move your business to a better solution.

How current and reliable are your backups? If your server goes down, how quickly can you recover? Having the answers to these questions could be the key to keeping your business afloat in the event of data loss.

Standard Backup vs BDR

Backup and BDR (Business Disaster Recovery) are two very different things. Traditional backup is simply transferring files to be stored separately, away from your main servers. For years this was done on physical NAS or USB drives. Not only is this slow, it rarely backs up the entire server either.

BDR on the other hand, is our comprehensive solution that will recover your entire system following a failure or disaster, using a Cloud-based backup. Simply put, should the worst happen, we will put the pieces back together.

With as little downtime as possible.

How Does It Work?

After installation and setup, your servers will be continually backed up into the Cloud. This means copies of your data will be transferred to a purpose-built datacentre.

Not only is this secure, with data encrypted at AES-256 bit bank-grade encryption – It’s also fast, as once we have the first copy of the data, only amended or brand-new data is transferred each time.

The result is an exact server replica that can be accessed within minutes, minimising business disruption if disaster was to strike.

Don’t be a disaster statistic

We get it. Keeping your server backups up-to-date can easily fall on the back burner. Business is busy, and there’s so much work to get done.

But take a look at these recent figures. You really don’t want to become a disaster statistic.

Human Error

29% of Data Loss is due to human error, which occurs regardless of how sophisticated the IT systems are.

Untested Icon

Untried & Untested

77% of server backups don’t work when tested, and only 34% of UK businesses bother to test them anyway!

400% increase in Data Loss since 2016, and it continues to rise year on year.

Upgrading your existing backups

Our BDR solution will completely replace any existing backup protocols you have in place.

If you’re already paying a monthly fee for your backup, in many cases upgrading to a full BDR solution means a relatively small increase in monthly fees. BDR is a monthly service and the cost is dependent on how much data you have.

Prices start from £190 a month + VAT.

Cloud to Cloud backup

If you use Microsoft Office 365 and Sharepoint, your data is safe, right? Well yes and no.

While these applications do offer robust disaster recovery, your data is still at risk due to acts of human nature. This could be the accidental deletion of files. Or even malicious acts where data is purposefully destroyed.

BCS can help protect against accidental deletion and security threats, using third-party backup and recovery tools. These will also ensure you meet legal and compliance requirements.

It’s peace of mind that you’ll be able to restore items and files quickly and easily when using Office 365 and Sharepoint.
