For many years BCS has been installing ad-hoc wireless access points in businesses, but with the growth of our work within schools, we became aware that this type of wireless technology just doesn’t deliver for everyone’s requirements. The products from Meru Networks allow for the install of structured wireless networks which are particularly suitable for environments where there is either a high density of wireless devices connecting like you would find in schools or multiple virtual networks such as in a shared facility or business centre. Meru also have products running at the new 802.11ac standard allowing for a blistering 1.3Gbps wireless network speed.

To support our commitment to this product we dispatched Harry Ashton, one of our engineers, off to a 3-day training course returning accredited as a Meru Certified Engineer (MCE). It is our understanding that BCS is now one of just two accredited Meru installers in the Kent area.
